The father of the quarter of NFL Drew Lock died.
Andy Lock was a restaurateur in Kansas City and co-founder of Summit Hospitality Group, who announced in a statement that he died surrounded by his family on Thursday.
“Andy was the heart of the heart and soul of Summit Hospitality Group – a visionary, a leader and a friend of many,” read an Instagram statement. “Since the first days of opening the Summit Grill at the launch of Third Street Social, Boru, Pearl Tavern, south of Summit, and the cafe district, Andy for food, people and the community has shaped everything we do.
“He thought that restaurants should feel at home – and that each guest, a member of the team and meals counted.
“His heritage lives in each dish that we serve, each warm welcome we offer and every moment we share in our restaurants.”

Lock spent last year with the New York Giants and played eight games for the team

A cause of death for Andy has not been disclosed to date.
With its trading partner Domhnall Molloy, Andy was named one of the “restaurateurs of the year” by the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association.
In their statement, Summit Hospitality Group said they would soon share more information on a commemorative service for Andy.
His son, Drew, was a quarter-Arrière outside competition at the University of Missouri before being selected No. 42 in total at the NFL 2019 draft.
He started his career with the Broncos, starting 21 games in three seasons, before stays with the Seahawks and the Giants.
