Max has released a first look at his upcoming Dune TV series.

Below is a trailer for Dune: Prophecy, which brings a tale of author Frank Herbert’s sci-fi odyssey to the small screen this fall. The video was first shown during the Warner Bros. presentation. Discovery Upfront in New York on Wednesday.

The official description: “10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and create the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel Brotherhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, and the first season consists of six episodes. The show was originally titled Dune: The Brotherhood.

The project follows the massive success of Dune: part two which grossed $710 million at the box office worldwide.

In the series, Alison Schapker (Fringe) is showrunner and executive producer.
