Foxborough, Mass. (AP) – The coach of the New England Patriots Mike Trinbel said that he was aware of a video showing that the receiver Stefon Diggs passed a bag of pink crystals to women on a boat. Truebel refused to comment if he spoke about it in Diggs.
“All the conversations I had with Stefon will stay between him, me and the club,” said Truebel before an optional practice on Wednesday that Diggs did not attend.
“This is something we know,” said Truebel. “Obviously, we want to make big decisions on and off the field. … The message will be the same for all our players, that we are trying to make big decisions.”
An NFL spokesperson said the league would not comment. Diggs agents did not immediately respond to a text from the Associated Press requesting comments.
Diggs, which was linked to the star of Hip-Hop Cardi B This off-season, is shown in a video on social networks by talking to three women on a boat before producing a bag of pink crystals.
Other videos of what seems to be the same boat trip shows a larger crowd which includes Cardi B, the rapper winner of a Grammy who was spotted by leaving the Met Gala with Diggs earlier this month. They also sat together in an eliminatory match in Boston Celtics-New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Cardi B, who is known for his hits such as “Bodak Yellow”, “I Like It” and “WAP”, filed a rapper’s divorce file last year.
