The owner of the dog who was found dead by police investigating the theft of his labradoodle had been lying there for several days, officers confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police have charged a man after Donald ‘Prentice’ Patience, 45, was found dead at a home in Bury earlier this week.
Ian Gary Connell of Bolton will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today.
Two other men, aged 27 and 41, have been released on bail pending further investigation.
The cause of Mr Patience’s death is currently unknown but an investigation is ongoing.
