Sushil Kumar goes to prison after 2021
Kumar and others were accused of having allegedly assaulted Dhankar and his friends in May 2021 for an alleged property dispute.
According to the post mortem report, Dhankar has undergone brain damage thanks to the impact of a bruising object.
Lawyer RK Malik, Kumar representative, said the wrestler has been in prison in the past three and a half years and that the accusation has cited 200 witnesses when only 31 have been examined so far.
While the accusation opposed the advocacy, Malik argued that the trial would take a long time to conclude and that Kumar had to be given to the reason for delay.
Sushil won money and bronze at the Olympic Games.
