In an update given by the SIU, they declared that a 30 -year -old man had been shot by regional police officers from Peel on Thursday morning.
Toronto, on – There were shooting reports that involved a police officer at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 8:20 am Thursday, according to officials.
Peel regional police published a position at X (formerly Twitter) reporting that there had been a large police presence and an adult male fired. An officer who was involved at the time was not injured, according to the police.
According to regional police regional police, the Ontario regional police (SIU) of the civilian police for the civil police was contacted to investigate.
“This is an isolated incident, and there is no known threat to public security.” Said regional police police.
In an update given by the SIU, they said that a 30 -year -old man had been shot down by regional police officers from Peel.
The regional police officers of Peel had investigated a man in distress in a SUV in the departures of Terminal 1 shortly before 7 am, the first information received in the investigation indicated that the man had a firearm according to the police.
Three police officers fired the man, who was then taken to the hospital and said dead soon after.
“Six investigators and three medical investigators were assigned to the case.” The SIU said.
