The Nintendo Switch online mobile application has undergone a fairly major brand change while fans have enthusiastically await the launch of the Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
Now simply known as ‘Nintendo Switch App’Update 3.0.1 now allows you to visualize the profiles of your friends and receive optional notifications whenever they put online.
However, the application supports the next Nintendo Switch 2, allowing you to receive GameChat notifications invites while introducing an improvement that is very necessary for screenshot management.
Indeed, with the Switch 2, the use of the functionality “ Download to the intelligent device ” will now send screenshots directly to the Nintendo Switch application, with up to 100 files displayed for 30 days after the initial download.
