Derrick Harmon, the man that the Pittsburgh steelers took in the first round of the NFL on Thursday, revealed that his mother was in life in the hospital.
Speaking after doing the giant in the NFL, Harmon said: “It’s really a blessing. It is really a blessing. But it was a little soft-to be. My mother was not with me – she is at the hospital right now on Life Support.
“It was a little soft-man because she worked as hard as I am to arrive at this moment. But it was a unique experience. As I said, I am very excited.
“After leaving the phone with you, I head to the hospital to tell him that his son was drafted.”
Harmon beat tears by talking to journalists after the Steelers chose it, with audio since its release on social networks.
His mother Tiffany had a stroke while he was in the state of Michigan and suffered brain surgeries.

Addressing ESPN before the project, Harmon said: “My mother means everything for me. His name is Tiffany healthy and it’s my rock, that’s my why.
“My first year in Michigan State, she ended up having a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side. It was a bit difficult, but with her health, it was something that we were used to – growing up, she underwent about eight brain surgeries.
“I am from Detroit, so I was about 45 minutes from my house when I went to Michigan State. It is the reason why I am here. It was she who did everything for me to this point.
“I love you, mom. Everything I do is for you. I am eternally grateful.
He also posted a photo of himself with his mother since he was a child on his Instagram.
“It’s for you,” he wrote. “I do what you told me I could do a long time ago. I love you until the wheels fall.
