New head of the state GOP
To his head in the sand

Re: “First black woman to direct the GOP of California, ready to face the DEMS” (page A1, April 6).

If the truth is often said, people might think.

President Trump is not a businessman, as Corrin Rankin, California GOP chief said. You can do your own research and google these six Trump companies that have indeed gone bankrupt: Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza Hotel, Plaza Hotel, Trump Hotels and Resorts, Trump Entertainment Resorts and Trump Castle Hotel and Casino. People could search “President Trump did not have six bankruptcies”, and they would find no alternative fact to support this premise, no matter how much they tried. Six bankruptcies do not make a businessman, and it should be something on which we all agree.

Currently, we are heading towards its seventh: the United States of America, and frightening, the world economy. Let’s continue to beat the sidewalk with the truth.

Trump detractors are
Be a bad American

I voted for Donald Trump twice, although as a contribution. However, I thought he was a good president on politics as a whole. After 2020, however, I prayed for God to replace him.

I knew that if Trump became president again, then the total effort to drop him would resume immediately. But I ask those of you who support this: how can you consider yourself the right democrats when you refuse to accept the legitimacy of a democratically elected president, no matter how much you might disagree with him or, even, hate him?

Since 2016, I have attended several town halls with local representatives of the room, and all were nothing other than anti-top gatherings. It’s wrong, people.

President Trump boldly does what more than 77 million of us have elected him to do, believing that he is trying to do what is best for our nation. If you can’t accept this, then sorry, but you don’t act like good Americans.

The column does not do
His point on prices

Re: “How the prices destroy what makes America formidable” (page A7, April 4).

David Brooks tries to explain how Trump’s prices are a bad thing without even suggesting why it is unfair for other countries to impose higher prices on incoming American goods that the United States imposes on their own.

Brooks believes that the current tariff system is reflected in individuals who “are enthusiastic about novelty … have a diversified curiosity … have a social significance … Combine disparate visions of the world … (and) are motivated towards continuous growth.” Although these are beautiful things to have, we are the richest country in the world and have a cataclysmic deficit.

Brooks does not explain why its subtleties would disappear if prices were made right. Maybe Brooks should ask: if other countries pay for other countries is what is necessary to make America great, what is it said about America?

Trump Déchoners
Memory of soldiers

In the midst of the war of the “liberation day” of President Trump, the stock market crash of 6 billions of dollars, the dismissal of intelligence personnel at the request of a right -wing activist and the use of a commercial application to discuss war plans, another element escaped the titles.

After a search for several days, the bodies of four army soldiers who disappeared in a NATO training exercise were recovered in Lithuania. While their audiences crossed the Lithuanian capital, the streets were lined with civilians, a number in tears, holding American and Lithuanian flags. Rows of Lithuanian troops praised our soldiers when they started their last return trip.

Despite the troubles created by the Trump administration with European allies, respect remains for the United States and the sacrifices of our soldiers.

And where was President Trump for the transfer worthy of the draped coffins of the flag? He chose to join a Liv golf tournament supported by Saudi, showing a very different type of engagement.

Voter identification rules are
ineffective, useless

Re: “Save Act claims to solve a big problem that does not exist” (page A8, April 6).

The voting identifiers adopted in many states are so useless. We already have an identity document on each ballot. This is called your signature.

The signature is verified by the voter registrar. When people register to vote, they swear that they are citizens, live at their address and are good. The signature makes the document legal.

Why do we need more identification laws? The laws will not make people more trustworthy.
