In an article on X, team officials said on Wednesday’s election comments for the team’s official name should be shown that “Utah Wasatch” was unpopular, so they moved to Utah outlaws.
Fans can vote on the names of the Utah Mammoth team, Utah Hockey Club and Utah Outlaws at home hockey matches Friday, Sunday and Tuesday (January 31, February 2 and February 4).
A favorite name for fans was Utah Yeti; However, the US patent office rejected Yeti due to other products using the brand.
