- I am a frequent traveler who has taken hundreds of flights in my life, but we stand out like the best.
- I saw the Mont Everest during my 50 -minute flight from Kathmandu, Nepal, Paro, in Bhutan.
- The snowy Himalayas cut me off – I have never seen such an incredible view in my life.
I had the chance to travel in more than 50 countries in my life and I took hundreds of flights around the world.
Some flights are definitely more memorable than others, but by far, the most spectacular I have ever passed was from Kathmandu, Nepal, Paro, Bhutan, in May.
It was not the quantity of leg space or gourmet meals on the menu that breathed me – it was the landscape by the window.
More specifically, passengers on board this particular route have the chance to see one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Mont Everest, in all its glory from above.
At first, I was a little nervous about our flight to Bhutan

Last year, I finally convinced some of my friends to join me for an eight-night trip to Bhutan, a small Himalayan country between China and India.
To get to Bhutan, we stole with the national air carrier Drukair, also called Royal Bhoutan Airlines, from the capital of Nepal to Paro.
The flight was less than an hour, but I was nervous as we went up.
Paro International Airport is nestled in Paro Valley, surrounded by the Himalayan mountains.
The topography makes the region notoriously delicate so that the even qualified pilots can navigate, and very few are even qualified to take off or land at the small airport.
Due to these factors, operations at Paro International Airport are limited to the hours of clarity and in the event of clear visibility. Fortunately, the weather seemed perfectly clear the day we took off.
While we had stolen, I only saw light skies and views of the mountains

Shortly in the 50 -minute flight, the hostesses of the airlines served us refreshments and I felt relaxing. Soon the captain told passengers to look out the windows on the left side of the plane.
There, dominating above the clouds, were the most astonishing view of the snowy Himalayas, with the Mont Everest standing above the rest.
The beautiful vision literally made me shout like a child who had just discovered candies for the first time. Seeing the highest mountain in the world of high looked like a unique opportunity.
I recommend this flight, even if it is only for views

When we approached paro international airport shortly after, I always burst. Fortunately, the landing of our plane proved to be fluid and without incident.
My friends and I also had an incredible time in Bhutan. We were able to visit impressive religious sites, watching epic archery, embarking on exciting outdoor hikes, and much more.
If you visit Nepal, I strongly recommend taking a detour to Bhutan, even if it’s just to live the views of this flight.
As long as I live, I will never forget the pure magic to see such famous mountains from above.
