• After having grown up on the east coast and lived in New York for years, I moved to Los Angeles.
• Some things were easy to adapt, such as the climate and the differences in public transport.
• Other things have triggered me, such as the fresh attitude of Los Angeles to alcohol and the slower rhythm of the city.

I grew up in New Britain, in Connecticut, and when I was 18, I realized my dream of moving to New York for the university.

I ended up staying three more years after school, and I always think it’s the most incredible place in the world.

However, I felt like I needed a change. Things were growing a little stagnating in my life, so I wandered my suitcases and I moved to Los Angeles in the hope of finding work in the film industry.

Move around the country is expensive – it costs thousands of dollars for professional movers alone – and I knew I was taking a risk. But I was also enthusiastic about the new adventure.
