In an NFL draft season which was largely lacking in drama or intrigue, a perspective apparently compensated the shortage of scenarios by itself.
Sheder Sanders, the former quarter of the Colorado Buffaloes and the son of the Daion Sanders Football Temple, was one of the most discussed names in Thursday’s event. It is without Any kind of consensus on the severity of its pro potential, with the pronousticators speculating on Sanders could be chosen as high as the n ° 3 by the Giants of New York, n ° 9 by the saints of New Orleans or entirely entirely of the first round.
And as much as Sanders was examined for his game on the field, he was also separated.
A quarter coach would have qualified Sanders as “impetuous” and “arrogant”. Another assistant coach told NFL Network that he was “entitled” after what he described as “the worst official interview” of which he had ever been part.
It is a story that Sanders pays no spirit before the project.
“I really have no space for negativity, so that doesn’t play a factor in my life at all,” Sanders told NBC News in April on anonymous comments. “I understand that the easiest thing in the world to do is to be negative instead of positive. I really don’t care what people have to say. ”
Sanders said that as sons of one of the most electric personalities in the NFL, he feels prepared for the noise around him. And he was not afraid to make things that draw attention, like when he has fallen for his $ 70,000 watch among opponents and fans in a post -match celebration – a decision that a number of pros have emulated.
“I am happy that everything happens this way. I like a lot of chaos, because it shows you who is really there,” said Sanders. “I would not change anything because it adds to the story. People hate a child for no reason. I have no problems out of the field. So you understand what it really is.”
Regarding its real quarter, Sanders is a delicate projection. During his two years with the Buffaloes, he launched 64 affected and in his last year completed 74% of his passes. But he has also taken 94 bags in the past two seasons, perhaps a sign that he often holds too long in the ball.
However, Sanders was finally a key member of the colorado transformation of a team to a gain the year before his arrival in 2022 to a team of nine victories in 2024.
To help navigate the project process, Sanders relied on certain old quarters which have been more than ready to help him advise him. He said that Michael Vick, Byron Leftwich and Robert Griffin III are among those to whom he spoke in anticipation of his career in the NFL.
“Many former African-American quarters who all understand what’s going on in society and simply be big brothers for me,” he said. “Base on these relationships whenever things get difficult. They help me get through everything I need to pass. ”
Once the project is starting on Thursday evening, where Sanders is chosen will be one of the most dramatic moments of broadcasting. But he said he did not expect a great demonstration of emotion when he finally selected.
“It’s just something that just played the caliber of football that I played,” said Sanders, adding that it will be more excited to see where some of his friends land. “I have the impression that it is supposed to happen. If it was a big surprise for me, then I would not feel that I deserved it. This is what will be in my mind.”
What if Sanders is in third place in the Giants, dropping him in New York and a desperate city for a good quarter-arre?
“I don’t think there is a quarter of a quarter that will never be prepared for that more than me.”
