The star of Tampa Bay Rays, Yandy Diaz, became viral on her daring choice of shoes during Friday’s defeat against the Yankees.
The cameras caught the Diaz born in Cuban with rare Adidas crampons covered with crystal worth almost $ 500.
The Swarovski X Adidas Adizero Impact + was launched last September and only 44 pairs were published.
Forty-four is also the number worn by Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez, who helped launch the crampons last year after signing an agreement with the sports giants.
Diaz wore the catchy crampons during the 1-0 defeat of Tampa Bay against the Yankees and they divided the opinion between the supporters.
Some fans have criticized Diaz, with an appellant “indulgent” crampons and “attention”.

Others made fun of the MLB star, with a joke that “Liberace is like Woah which could be a little too much”. Another added: ‘If Prince played baseball …’
But some were fans of Diaz fashion choices. “These are (fire) I don’t care what someone says,” said one of them. “I am in love with these,” said another.
The Yankees lead the series of four 2-1 games before the last Sunday meeting with the Rays. Jazz Chisholm was ejected from the opening confrontation Thursday evening after making a third strike called.
Chisholm then evacuated his frustration on social networks, writing: “Not even (explanive) near !!!!!” But the Yankees star quickly removed the commentary, which seemed to violate MLB’s social media policy.
MLB regulations prohibit the use of electronic devices during games. In addition, social media policy prohibits the display or transmission of content which calls into question the impartiality or otherwise denigrates a major league arbiter.
“I did not think before I had something I said was ejected but after probably,” said Chisholm. “I am a competitor … I lost my emotions. I lost my cool.
He added: “I have to be better than that … I’m really angry with myself to have lost my cool.”
