The Miz insists that Cody Rhodes must win it all at WrestleMania XL this weekend or else he risks losing his loyal WWE fan base.
Rhodes challenges Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal Title at Mania on Sunday night, the second year in a row he has become Tribal Leader.

Twelve months ago, the former AEW star vowed to “finish his story” and win WWE’s top prize for himself and his family, but to no avail.
WWE’s call for Reigns to stay at Rhodes’ expense back then raised a few eyebrows, and many are even more certain that the challenger must prevail this time around.
Among them is Miz, a WrestleMania headliner in his own right, who believes Cody needs to get the nod on Sunday night to keep fans from losing interest.
Speaking to talkSPORT at a pre-‘Mania media event, WWE’s most inescapable superstar explained: “I just think Cody needs to finish his story.
If he doesn’t finish his story, he will lose his fan base.
“How many years do we have to wait?” You can only hear “I’m going to finish the story.” I’ll finish the story before you stop believing it.
“The first time, last year at WrestleMania, you thought you were going to get it and you didn’t.
“Then he settled in, he worked really hard, probably harder than anyone in WWE, to get to where he is now.

“Not only that, it was the fans who asked for it.
“WWE was offering The Rock, the biggest star in the world (the title match against Reigns), and the fans were like ‘no, we want Cody!’ Remember the guy who was going to finish the story? We want him!”
“The fans are the ones who brought him back, so if he can’t finish the story now, I don’t know when he can.
“So I think the crybabies will succeed!” »
Miz is uniquely placed to talk about the pressures of being at the top of WWE, having himself retained the company’s men’s title at WrestleMania – albeit with help from The Rock in 2011.
Rock will team with Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania XL on Saturday to face Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a match that will determine the stipulations for the following night’s title fight.
The Hollywood megastar’s return to the WWE fold was a lot of fun for Miz, who says The Great One was in exceptional form.
When asked if the wrestling stars were happy to have Rock around, he added: “Absolutely, are you kidding me? And it’s the best rock I’ve ever seen.

“I don’t know anyone else, but The Rock is the reason I wanted to be a WWE Superstar, and I was his first match when he first came back.
“Now he’s back, more confident and ready than I’ve ever seen him.
“I think this WrestleMania will be unforgettable.”
