McDonald’s is taking its efforts to attract money-conscious diners to another level.
On Tuesday, the Chicago-based burger chain launched McValue, a new value menu platform in restaurants across the United States. McValue’s menu will include the popular $5 meal deal, which it has extended several times since its debut in June.
The McValue Menu, which is available at all McDonald’s nationwide and on the MyMcDonald’s app, features a new Buy One, Add One for $1, local food and drink deals as well as in-app deals to the app, according to a company press release.
Customers will be able to create their own deals by mixing and matching various items with the new Buy One, Add One for $1 offer. Customers can purchase a menu item at full price and add an additional menu item of their choice for just $1.

Cory Watson, McDonald’s owner/operator and president of National Value for 2025, said in the press release that local offerings will include special discounted prices on fan-favorite a la carte items as well as unique meal packages.
“…You can find great prices on iced coffees, sodas, cheeseburgers, chicken McNuggets and much more,” he said. “We have great value for everyone, whether you are alone or feeding the whole family.”
The new menu comes after a year of war for values, with the trend of quick-service restaurants across the country trying to lure frugal diners with low-cost meals and deals galore.
