- Listen now: everything is launched! Why Bruno Fernandes is the Premier League player of the season
The move from Matheus Cunha to Manchester United has received a major boost, with reports suggesting that negotiations are entering the last step.
Cunha was one of the stars in small groups of the season with 14 goals and four assists in the Premier League despite the largely bad form of the Wolves throughout the current campaign.
In addition, its form was a key reason for the resurgence of the Wolves in the Haut-Vol under Vitor Pereira.
As such, the big clubs run for a large part of the season, Arsenal and Tottenham also linked in January, before Cunha wrote a new agreement that seemed to repel all the suitors.
However, United has remained interested and is now ready to make their first signature of the summer for 62.5 million pounds sterling.
According to Globo, reports in Brazil said that the talks between the parties have entered the final stages after having made “significant” progress.

Cunha likes the prospect of playing a key role in the Ruben Amorim reconstruction process
One of the main reasons for the pursuit of United lies in its familiarity with the favorite training of Ruben Amorim 3-4-2-1.
As Mail Sport revealed, Newcastle United was the main competition of Cunha’s signing, and they were eager to use it to the left of their attack, but the 25 -year -old seems to have been influenced by the prospect of playing a central role in the overhaul of the Amorim team.
Amorim did not hide his admiration for Cunha, praising his versatility and his production of objectives.
The united manager was also spotted in conversation with Cunha after United and the Wolves met in Molinine and again in the Old Trafford tunnel on Sunday.
United also hopes to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, but faces growing competition for his signature while Chelsea and others plan to activate his liberation clause of 30 million pounds.
Due to the PSR, finances are at a bonus for Amorim, and other recruitment plans will spend both sales and if they can qualify for Europe.
They also had discussions on Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Xavi Simons by Red Bull Leipzig and Benjamin Sesko, Ebelechi Eze de Crystal Palace and Antoine Semenyo in Bournemouth while they establish lists for all scenarios.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho could all be sold this summer, but realize that their optimal value will not be so easy.
