OAKLAND – A 47 -year -old man killed several times on Sunday evening when he was sitting in his car in West Oakland was in critical condition but stable on Monday, the authorities announced.
The shooting occurred around 7:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of the 34th street.
Police said Oakland’s man went to the region to see friends.
He was sitting in his car when someone went to the vehicle and started shooting the man, police said.
The shooter fled on foot.
The injured man was taken to the hospital by a friend.
Police try to determine a motive for the shooting. No information was published on the shooter.
