Pittsburgh – PNC Park was silent on Wednesday after a wild game in the seventh round gave the pirates the head of the Cubs. In the hustle and bustle of the group ricoche in the middle, a fan has plummeted from the right field of 21 feet high on the warning track.
The fan, which the pirates later identified as an adult man, was motionless like EMS and sports coaches of the two teams rushed to administer care. Another fan jumped stalls after him, distorted face with concern.
The medical team put the fan wounded on a stretcher and chased it out on the ground. After taking over the game, the sirens could be heard on the sound of the mute crowd. He was transported to the General Hospital of Allegheny, according to the pirates.
Pittsburgh Public Safety, which includes the police and Pittsburgh EMS, posted on X Thursday morning that “the incident is treated as accidental nature”. The man was listed in critical condition on Wednesday.
“First of all, I hope that the gentleman is fine,” said Manager Craig Counsell after the defeat of the Cubs 4-3. “And think of his family and him right now. He obviously seemed to be scary. It did not see it happening but saw (the consequences) after the room. I hope everything will go well.”
After the doors ended behind the cart in the right field, the players rose, kneel to show their respect while the medical staff jumped for the action and had to finish the match.
“It is definitely a humble reminder of gratitude that we can be able to play this game, and there are so many people who support us and come to games and are a great reason why we are able to do what we do,” said the short-short of Swanson. “It is obviously difficult, and simply put things in perspective and makes you want to tell everyone that you love them, and do not take anything for granted.”
Swanson, in the middle of the field on the field, did not see the fan fall.
The Cubs clung to a 3-2 advance with two withdrawals and runners in the first and second at the end of the seventh round. Faced with Cubs take up Caleb Thielbar, the designated striker of the pirates Andrew McCutchen cut a group just to the left of the second base.
Swanson and the second base player Nico Hoerner both closed and slipped, Swanson in front of Hoerner.
“Baseball baseball,” said Swanson. “And it was one of these pieces, Nico and I converge and try to keep it. I don’t think there will be a game in one of the bases, but I’m just trying to keep the ball.”
Swanson managed to put his glove on the ball but his momentum sent him in the other direction, rolling in a shallow right -back field. This gave hackers enough to score two points on what was deemed a double. They took an advance of 4-3.
Then, the attention of the stadium was drawn to the warning track in the right field, and the importance of the game turned out.
“I don’t think we know what we have seen,” said Counsell. “What we saw as someone lying on the warning track. And you know it’s not good.”
“Obviously, a very scary moment,” said Swanson. “And you see that everyone takes a knee and pray and hope everything is fine. Obviously, we just pray for a good strong recovery, just to be with him and his family.
“I have never been part of something like that, and obviously hopes never to be part of something like that again.”

In the corresponding movements, the Cubs transferred the right-hander Javier Assad from the IL of 15 days to the 60 days and optionized the left-handed lift Tom Cosgrove in Triple-A.

Imanaga left the 9-0 victory of the cubs against the pirates in sixth round. Director Craig Counsell specified that he had affected the two quads.
