President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee raised $ 239 million, shows a new fundraising report, supported by contributions to one million dollars with large companies and business managers.
Massive transport represents more than double the $ 109 million collected for its first inauguration in 2017 (the record so far). Among those who have written major checks, there were people exploited by Trump to become government representatives, as well as eminent companies (and their leaders) with cases before the administration, in particular those in the oil, technology, technology and transport sectors.
Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., a large poultry producer, donated more than any other person or business, sending $ 5 million to the Trump’s inaugural committee. Just behind Ripple Labs, the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Company, which gave nearly $ 4.9 million.
A handful of energy companies have given at least $ 500,000 each – including Chevron, Conocophillips, Exxonmobil, Shell and Western Petroleum Corp., as well as the political arm of the American Petroleum Institute.
Artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency companies have also mentioned similar donations, notably Solana Labs, the CEO of Open Ai Sam Altman, Ripple, C3.ai, Coinbase, Galaxy Digital Services, Perplexity AI.
Amazon and Meta each donated $ 1 million. The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, and the meta-PDG Mark Zuckerberg attended the inauguration of Trump and received prominent seats in the Capitol rotunda, where Trump tightened after bad weather scuttled the traditionally external event. Apple CEO Tim Cook also gave $ 1 million.
IT companies Micron, NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Microsoft have also made six -digit donations, as are health care companies such as Hims, Johnson and Johnson, Merck, Pfizer and Amgen. Live Nation made a donation of $ 500,000 and two online playing companies Draftocks and Fanduel each gave a little under this.
The other main donors include those who have links with the Trump administration, including some who were finally exploited by the president for major administration roles.
Gop Warren Stephens’ megadoneur, which Trump hit his UK Ambassador, gave $ 4 million. Jared Issamman, Trump’s candidate to lead NASA, gave $ 2 million, as is Trump’s choice to be Ambassador in Latvia, Melissa Argyros.
Tilman Fertitta, appointed ambassador to Italy, gave $ 1 million; Educational Secretary Linda McMahon gave $ 1 million; The former employer of the trade secretary, Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald, gave $ 1,047,000; The president of the New York Stock Exchange, Jeffrey Sprecher, husband of the small business administrator, Kelly Loeffler, gave $ 1 million; And the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave $ 250,000.
And eminent republican political donors have also opened their portfolios: Miriam Adelson and Ken Griffin each have given $ 1 million, and members of the Ricketts, Schwab and Devos families all made six -digit checks.
The inaugural committees are not subject to any contribution limit, although foreign nationals cannot make a donation (but their American subsidiaries can). Within 90 days of each inauguration, each committee must report their aggregated donations of $ 200 or more.
