The main American indices open mixed. Major indices on track for a down week

The major indices open subduedly. The NASDAQ is lower. The Dow Jones is higher. The S&P is in between, but slightly lower.

The NASDAQ index is impacted by Netflix which is down more than 6.5% after publishing better than expected profits and revenues but with moderate forecasts.

Shares of Nvidia and Super Micro Computers are also down. Super Micro Computers has set its earnings date, but has not announced positive earnings projections in advance. In the past, they anticipated their gains with positive comments. SMCI stock is currently down -4.4%. Nvidia shares are trading down -0.75%.
