Conservative commentator and former anchor for a news facilitator from America Liz Wheeler defendant Donald Trump New prices and were verified by its own past on Friday.
Wheeler posted a long declaration on X supporting Trump’s controversial new rates that sank the DOW to end the negotiation week.
In his post, Wheeler argued that prices were necessary to protect American jobs, restore domestic manufacturing and stop the fentanyl flow in the country.
“The prices prevent not only the impertinent countries from taking advantage of us-which is a big problem,” she wrote. “The prices will stop the flow of fentanyl in our neighborhood – which is a moral imperative.”
She then said: “Trump is the perfect person to use prices as a means of achieving better quality of life, security and prosperity for the American people …”
Shortly after his post has gained ground on the platform, he was annexed with a community note pointing to a 2018 wheel tweet herself who said: “A price of any other name is always an increase in giant taxes on the Americans.”
Wheeler replied on Saturday after the community note saw him hit with a Snark torrent.
“I don’t care about the head of this community note,” she wrote. “You, Alecks smarts, are hilarious.”
She said that she had changed her positions on many questions, writing: “I often talk about the transformation of my political philosophy for this exact reason, so people who are not yet based … begin to be based on politics.”
Wheeler added: “While you are here, plan to change your mind on Forever Wars, marijuana, video games and libertarianism, in addition to prices.”
The former host joined Oann in 2015 and left the network in September 2020.
Trump’s new tariff policy, announced earlier this week, targets goods from countries like China, Mexico, Canada and European Union members.
The White House says that prices are intended to protect American industries and reduce dependence on foreign supply chains.
