The legend of WWE Sheamus weighed on the acrimonious departure of Trent Alexander-Arrimonious of Liverpool before his move to Real Madrid.
After months of speculation on his future, Alexander-Arnold announced last week that he would leave Liverpool this summer after two decades in his childhood club.
This decision sees the 26 -year -old leaving Anfield on a free transfer after a winning campaign in the title in the first season of Arne Slot in the Premier League.

The longtime supervisor of the Reds Sheamus revealed that he would not have hooked Alexander-Arnold but insisted that he could understand the frustration of the supporters after the prolonged saga.

“I would never get a player in a Liverpool jersey, even Jamie Carragher (laughs).
“I don’t think it’s true, you are still playing for the club that you always wear the crest.
“If you don’t want to play for the club, it’s good, continue. It will open a place for someone else like a conor Bradley.
“(Trent part) gives the opportunity for someone who wants to play for the club and who is passionate about the club and who wants to come and give everything for the ridge. I prefer a situation by far where if he does not want to play, he leaves.
“I would not want a guy who has a foot and a foot of the door, then signed a contract at the club withdrawn, because then on the road, it will cause problems.
“So, if there is a doubt in his mind that he wants to be in Anfield, at Liverpool Football Club, go for it.”
This decision sees Alexander-Arnold joining the colleagues of his colleague from the Liverpool Academy Steve McManaman and Michael Owen to exchange Anfield for the Bernabeu.
