Liv golf star Phil Mickelson had a hole to forget during the PGA championship this week while the Golfer Gaucher finished two rounds below the cutting line.
After a first round that ended at eight peer, Mickelson would need something of a miracle to change his fortune.
Mickelson finished the first-nine by two under the day and a birdie on the eleventh put it three under the day and five under the turn.
Unfortunately, it did not last long thanks to a disaster on the 12th hole.
Mickelson smoked his TEE 323 yards shot – leaving a shot of 121 yards to the hole. However, his second blow went to the left of the green and in a bunker.
This is where the nightmare started. Mickelson, a golfer known for his prolific short game, simply could not leave the beach.
Phil Mickelson had a bad time in the 12th in the PGA championship – leading to a double bogey

Mickelson needed four shots to get out of a bunker, finished new and missed the cut
It took Mickelson four shocking attempts to get out of the bunker in the 12th hole before finally going out.
To make things worse, the shot that ultimately came out of the sand trap rolled away from the hole.
This installed him with a putt of almost 54 feet for Bogey on which he drove less than three feet before finally typing for a double merciful Bogey.
During the last six holes, Mickelson has been sneaked twice and has bogey twice to finish new for the tournament and miss its fourth cut in its five previous major.
Since he won the PGA championship in Kiawah Island in 2021, the most notable result of Mickelson, 54, in a major, was a draw for second place at the Masters in 2023.
Other than that? A T62 at US 2021 US Open in Torrey Pines, a T58 at the PGA 2023 championship in Oak Hill, a T60 in the 2024 open championship in Royal Troon, and a huge eight missed cuts.
