The leak to end all leaks: Stunning new images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in every color

If you thought you’d seen everything Samsung plans to reveal at its massive Unpacked event on July 10, a series of new leaks from Evan Blass on Substack might prove you ain’t seen nothing yet.

While there are obviously no new, unreleased devices pictured here, these new images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 show off the two upcoming foldable devices in completely new detail and unmatched quality in a total of seven painting work (in between).

Without further ado, we give you…

The Z Fold 6 in all its glory!

Have you ever seen anything prettier than this new pink-coated foldable book? Sure, the hue could probably have been a bit brighter, but we guess Samsung didn’t want to risk crossing the invisible line of tacky.

The “silver shadow” shade, meanwhile, is admittedly a bit boring and instantly forgettable, but that’s where the navy comes in, aiming to turn the heads of people who might not be impressed by the visual qualities of the aforementioned pink colorway… for pretty obvious reasons.

Today’s high-resolution renderings naturally also highlight the Galaxy Z Fold 6The redesigned rear camera lenses are unlike any previous leak, and the same goes for the sharper edges of that massive main screen, creating an overall squarer look than that of the curvier Z Fold 5.
Ultimately, liking or hating this revised aesthetic will come down to one’s personal taste and sense of style, with the Z Fold 6’s widely rumored specs seeming objectively repetitive and underwhelming:
  • 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with 120Hz refresh rate technology and 2160 x 1856 pixel resolution;
  • 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X secondary display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 2376 x 968 pixel resolution;
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 generation 3 for Galaxy processor;
  • 12 GB of RAM;
  • 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options;
  • 50MP + 12MP + 10MP triple rear camera system;
  • 4MP under-screen camera;
  • 10MP Cover Camera;
  • 4,400 mAh battery with 25W support;
  • Dimensions 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm (folded);
  • Dimensions 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm (unfolded);
  • Weight of 239 grams.

The Z Flip 6 looks great in yellow, mint, blue and silver

Yes, this still unannounced Android flap looks familiar. Very familiar. Almost completely unchanged from last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5. But is that really such a bad thing when it turns out that the Z Flip 5 is objectively one of the most beautiful mobile devices in the world right now?

These new “leaked” images offer a resounding “no” as the answer to that question, showing an undeniably gorgeous modernized flip phone with a large, rounded main foldable display, a decidedly large and practical cover display shaped like a good old-fashioned back, revised dual rear cameras with large rings around them, and an unchanged side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Could Samsung have deviated from the Z Flip 5’s general design language to produce an even sleeker and better-looking Galaxy Z Flip 6? Perhaps, but sometimes it’s wiser not to try to fix what isn’t, and instead focus on offering the next spec sheet with some meaningful upgrades over the previous one. Galaxy Z Flip 5:
  • 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with 2640 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate technology;
  • 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 748 x 720 pixels;
  • Dimensions 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm (unfolded);
  • 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm (folded);
  • 187 grams of weight;
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for Galaxy with CPU clock speeds up to 3.39 GHz;
  • 50MP main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture;
  • Secondary 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture;
  • 10 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture;
  • 256 and 512 GB storage options;
  • 4,000 mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities.
