PGMOL – The organ director of the referee for the English game – made a new admission to the “Leg -Bave” challenge by James Tarkowski in the Merseyside derby.
The defender of Everton caused an uproar when he rushed to Alexis Mac Allister in the first minutes of the game, while he was slipping to clean a ball and shouted his man on the follow -up.
Mac Allister struck the pain bridge while Liverpool players invaded referee Sam Barrott to call the central back to receive his walking orders – while Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure were in the reverse match just weeks ago.
We expected that a Var exam would see the decision of Barrott Yellow Card overturned, but no change was made and that Tarkowski played, finishing the 90 minutes.
In the end, Liverpool won the match 1-0, but that could have been a different story if they had faced 10 men for the majority of the match.
And that should have been the case, according to PGMOL, who admitted that the bad decision had been made and that Tarkowski should have been sent.
More to follow.
