The Writer block is not up to the latest Microsoft AI infusion for its application application. The long-term notepad now has the possibility of writing personalized content according to any invitation that you feed it, as long as you have Microsoft 365 or a COPILOT PRO subscription. Microsoft’s updated notepad even allows you to define the text generated with tracking prompts.
This update comes several months after Microsoft added the rewriting tool to the notepad which allows you to rely on a generative AI to refine an existing piece of text. Instead of rewriting, you can now right-click when you want a whole new text and press writing in the Copilot menu, or use the shortcut Ctrl + Q. From its humble start as a simple text publisher without spelling until recently, the notepad finally obtains the makeover of the modern AI that it deserves.
The notepad is not the only application to obtain a little love from Microsoft. The updated paint application can draw from a generative AI to make personalized stickers depending on the user prompts. In addition to this, there is a selection function of objects that can isolate specific parts of an image so that you can simply modify this part. These two features are only available on Copilot + PC, such as recently announced HP laptops.
Finally, Microsoft upgraded the snipping tool with the perfect screenshot function that automatically changes your screenshots. With the AI co -pilot, the tool will automatically resume the screenshot so that you do not have to spend time getting the right harvest. The perfect screenshot function requires a COPILOT + PC, but the new Snipping Tool color selector tool, which can provide you with the hexadecimal, RGB or HSL values of a color that you see on the screen, does not do. As usual, these AI features will first be moved to Windows Insiders users.
