What does Craig Mazin say about The Last of Us Future by Pedro Pascal?
Joel may be gone, but he is still part of the future of the show, according to Mazin. In an episode of the Podcast Last of Us, the co-creator said:
“But I will say, and I will be intentional on this subject, that we know that for the spectator, there are mysteries here. There are gaps on the relationship of Ellie and Joel, and I do not think that it is a spoiler based on the fact that there is a trailer with a lot of photos in – it is not the last that we will see Joel.”
The series told the exceptional link of Joel and Ellie, which viewers saw developing during the first season. However, one of Joel’s decisions caused a break in their relationship. This led to their distance and “cruel separation” during the second season. And with Ellie avoiding Joel during the first moments of season 2, his last memory with Joel would be the last moments before his departure forever.
Season 2 also features Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, Young Mazino, Isabela Merced, Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barrer, Tati Gabrielle, Jeffrey Wright and Catherine O’Hara.
The last season 2, which was created on April 13, was broadcast on Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO. The first season is available to broadcast on Max.
