Russia “reserves the right” to conclude the energy infrastructure of Ukraine if kyiv violates a moratorium agreement, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Russian Interfax.
“It would be illogical for us to comply while facing night attempts to hit our energy facilities,” said Peskov, adding that the Russian forces “still remain in hand the moratorium on the bombing of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine”.

Peskov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine “do not follow their command” and target Russian energy sites. He also said that there was a “total lack of control” within the Ukrainian army.
“If Ukraine has joined the moratorium and has expressed the appropriate orders to its armed forces, then clearly these orders are not carried out … The attempts to carry out these strikes continue daily,” said Peskov.
On Thursday, the general staff of Ukraine denied the allegations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia according to which the Ukrainian forces had struck energy facilities, describing that the accusations are false.
“From March 25 to 27, Ukraine’s defense forces did not launch drone strikes on energy facilities in the Kursk and Bryansk regions in Russia, nor on energy infrastructure in Crimea occupied by Russia,” said general staff.
Following the alleged agreement between Russia and Ukraine – negotiated by the United States – to stop the other’s energy infrastructure, the Russian Defense Ministry accused kyiv of daily violations.
