EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Day won an extended international role at Prime Video after the release of Jennifer Salke last week.
Deadline saw an internal note sent by the boss of Prime Video Mike Hopkins during the last hour which confirms that the well appreciated day will face the international originals of Amazon, in addition to its current functions as vice-president of Prime Video International.
Previously, all the originals were finally sitting under Salke, which left last week after seven years in the middle of the Amazon conversation had moved in a different direction with the new James Bond look on the horizon. James Farrell had directly supervised international originals, but he was released earlier this year, as we revealed at the time.
In addition to his new functions, Day will seek to hire a new vice-president of international originals to replace Farrell, and this executive reports to him.
