The K-Pop Lisa star, who also plays in the last season of “The White Lotus”, faces a backlash after having worn Louis Vuitton Lingerie at Met Gala which seems to be illustrated with the face of Rosa Parks.
The 28 -year -old Thai star of Blackpink sported a black blazer inlaid with pearls with a pearl chain at the biggest fashion evening, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Lisa also wore transparent tights sporting the signature symbols of Vuitton, on which were panties that seemed to wear the fire activist of civil rights.
Vogue reported that the black artist acclaimed Henry Taylor, known for having embroidered miniature works on clothes did it for the whole carried Monday by Lisa, the real name Lalisa Manobal.

“The use of the image of Rosa Parks in this way seems to be a blatant lack of respect and sensitivity towards her inheritance and the struggles she confronted during the civil rights movement,” read a tweet.

The theme “Tailored for you” of this year linked to the exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” of the MET, which it describes as “a cultural and historical examination of the black style on three hundred years through the concept of dandyism”.
The exhibition “also explores the importance of style for the formation of black identities in the Atlantic diaspora, especially in the United States and Europe”.
Parks, who was 92 years old when he died in 2005, organized the boycott of the 381 -day Montgomery buses to protest against separate seats on the buses.
