Roy Keane left Ian Wright in points after targeting a light excavation in Eni Aluko after his fallout with the former Arsenal star.
Last month, Aluko initially accused Wright of “blocking opportunities for women” in the female game in an incendiary appearance in the BBC Radio 4 program.
Immediately struck with a wave of upheavals, the former Chelsea star returned to her comments and stressed that she did not intend to distinguish Wright – a vocal supporter of the growth of women’s football – on purpose.
But in his first public comments following the controversy, Wright then chose not to accept the occasional apology of his ITV co-pounds, calling on the public to “move on”.
Mail Sport later reported how Aluko’s position in ITV was under control in the middle of her comments, who came during an appearance where she also said that her Punditry career had been damaged by the former Manchester City midfielder, Joey Barton, whom she continued for Libel, after he nicknamed it a ” last. While the panel discussed managerial criticism, Keane said: “This is the only thing I would not do. Criticize the players – no problem, with the managers, I would be (reluctant) … because I did it and I know how difficult it is.
Jill Scott then intervened and gave his opinion on the question by adding: “ I have a hard time as I do not do a lot of female games and things ”, before Keane bypass a hilarious quip.
“Because of Ian,” said the hard -hitting Pundit with an impassive face to Aluko’s comments, leaving Scott, Wright, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes in hysterical.
Several of Wright’s colleagues have taken his side throughout the row, as well as a number of players who have passed and present.
This included the former Aluko teammate and the Wright co-host, Steph Houghton, who nicknamed him a `Super -hero ” on their crossways show-a women’s football program” in a recent episode.
She said, “Ian, can I just say this, and that was not prevented, I think I posted on Instagram: what you made for our game is incredible and you have to take all the credit that everyone threw you last week because you are a superhero. And I like to work with you.
Meanwhile, triggering the controversy when it appeared on BBC radio, Aluko had been questioned about the presence of male experts in the female game and, in particular, Ian Wright.
She said: “ I worked with Ian for a long time and, you know, I think he is a brilliant diffuser, but I think he is aware of what he does in the female game. I think it should be aware of it.

“The fact is that there is a limited amount of available spaces. If we had a situation where there was an equal opportunity in the male game for the broadcasters and the coaches that there is in the female game, it is a free for all.
“But this is not the case. I cannot dominate the male game in the way you know, you used Ian as an example.
When he was asked to clarify if she thinks it is bad for Wright to cover female football, Aluko added: “ I don’t know about it, but I think we have to be aware and we must make sure that women are not prevented to take a way to the broadcast in the female game.
“It’s still new, it always grows. There is a limited amount of opportunities and I think men must be aware of it.
“Men must be aware that, you know, you are in a growing sport, a growing sport for women, and we have not always had these opportunities, and it is therefore conscience and support other women through this path.”
Later, she clarified her comments on Instagram when she published on her story: “I share this full episode again so that people can really listen to everything I said with a full context.
“Unlike the titles of the media on clicks, no one was” attacked “or” accused “during this interview. There are many examples of men in women’s sport. Ian Wright is one. And as I said in the interview – Ian Wright is brilliant.

“ In my interview with Woman’s Hour this week, I was trying to highlight the limited possibilities for women in football – whether in training, broadcasting or commercial spaces – and the importance of creating more space so that women thrive on and off the field.
“But it was bad that the name of Lan was raised in this conversation, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I have known and worked with LAN for many years and I have only love and respect for him.
Wright, however, did not accept his reframing of the comments.
“ I have to talk about this week and what is going on, I don’t want to be questioned in this subject, ” said the former Arsenal striker in an Instagram video, who was liked to be several current stars of lionesses, especially The hemp Lauren, Alessia Russo and Mary Earps.
“I must say that I am very disappointed with what I said, she knows how I helped her, I supported her publicly, and I know the previous conversations she had with me and my management.
“I saw the apologies on social networks, but I cannot accept it, but I also want to move on.
“For anyone looking at this, I really don’t need additional social comments directed on all of this. The thing about the place where the female game is, it is not me – it must be the collective.
“Because of the past, we know that men have blocked the female game for 50 years, because of the past, we know that the game has serious systemic challenges, and it will take everyone to help the fixes. So for me, I always give back to the game, it gave me so much.
Meanwhile, Wright also received the support of ITV in the middle of the row, putting other doubts in the future of Aluko with the diffuser.
