Friday in Yemen, the FDI struck the ports of Hodeidah and Al-Salif in Yemen, said an Israeli official The Jerusalem post.
The army said that these ports are used to transfer weapons and are “another example of cynical use and the exploitation of civil infrastructure by the Houthis terrorist regime to advance terrorism”.
The strikes were carried out by 15 Israeli air force fighter planes and more than 35 ammunition was abandoned on the ports.
The strikes will probably put these ports from operational use for a month, according to TDI estimates. The objectives that were affected were more international and more central to the Houthis than the United States struck when it hit Houthi targets in Yemen.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said the soldiers “seriously damaged” the ports he had attacked in Yemen on X / Twitter shortly after strikes.

“As we said: if the Houthis continue to pull missiles towards the state of Israel, they will suffer from painful blows-and we will also target terrorist leaders as we did with Deif and Sinwar in Gaza, Nasrallah in Beirut, and Haniyeh in Téhran. We will chase and eliminate Abd al-Houthi in Yemen.” “.”
“We will defend ourselves with our own strength against any enemy,” concluded Katz.
The FDI said it had done strikes after many previous warnings. “Given the use by the Houthis of these ports for terrorist purposes, the FDI again warns any person present in the ports to evacuate and stay away from the area,” added the FDI. “All hostile activity in these ports will continue to be prevented.”

“The FDI is determined to continue working and strengthening forcefully against anyone who constitutes a threat to residents of the State of Israel, at any necessary distance,” concluded the army.
“Our pilots again struck two Houthi terrorist ports again, and this is only the start,” said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “There will be more to come. We are not willing to sit lazily and allow the Houthis to hurt us. We will hit them much stronger, including their leadership and all the infrastructures that allow them to hurt us.”
“Who behind them, who provides them with support, advice and approval, is Iran. The Houthis will pay a very heavy price, and we will defend ourselves by all the means necessary to ensure the security of the State of Israel,” concluded the Prime Minister.
Israel would have waited until the visit of American president Donald Trump in the Middle East to conclude before attacking Yemen, a source of security in Army Radio said.
Israel will seek to impose a naval blockade on the Houthis, said Sky News in Arabic, citing an Israeli source.
Not the first time that the IAF has hit Yemeni ports
The Israel Air Force would have made air strikes in the same ports of Yemen controlled by the Houthi on Sunday following a warning from the Arab spokesperson for the IDF, Colonel Avichay Adraee, which the inhabitants should evacuate until further notice.
“Due to the use by the Houthi terrorist regime of maritime ports for its terrorist activities, we urge everyone present at these ports to evacuate and stay far from them for your own security until further notice,” said Adraee before the start of strikes.
During the last week, the Houthis pulled four missiles, one of which fell short and landing in Saudi Arabia. The IDF intercepted all the others.
It is a story in development.
