Manvir scored five goals and made four assists for Mohun Bagan in 23 matches of the current ISL season. His absence will exert more pressure on Sunil Chhetri, 40, who recently reversed his international retirement to play again for India.
The Indian football team was forced to bring Chhetri because of a lack of goal score options and the recent handling injury only adds to their headache.
