The baseball fan which fell on a 21 -foot wall and crashed on the field in Pittsburgh on Wednesday was identified as a former 20 -year -old university football player.
According to Triblive, the fan in question was Kavan Markwood – who played as a second for the cardinals of the University of Wheeling.
A spokesperson for the South Allegheny school district, where Markwood has played football in high school, confirmed that he was currently fighting for his life in a Pittsburgh hospital after the horror fall.
“Everyone in South Allegheny would say that he is a very resilient and very resilient young man,” said the district representative Laura Thomson. “He’s a fighter. He’s going to need this resilience now.
