Jordan Petaia tracks a new land for the Australians in the NFL after having been head hunters by Los Angeles loaders as a potential tight end.
The double talent of the Wallabies World Cup signed a three -year agreement with the Bols after impressing as part of the International League players’ journey in an intensive 10 -week course in the NFL Florida.
The former talent of the Rugby League, Jordan Mailata, became the first Australian to win a Super Bowl in February as a defensive platform in Philadelphia, while Jarryd Hayne was a ball carrier for San Francisco and many others have punctuated for the NFL teams.
But Petaia, who was also prosecuted by Atlanta, Cleveland and Kansas City, is considered to be a smaller by the charge, who were the first to show their interest and the most difficult to continue after the Australian impressed during the professional day of the South Florida University.
The specialized position is a hybrid between an offensive line player and a receiver, alongside the offensive striker and capable of catching passes, blocking for other receivers or protecting the quarter.
Petaia’s vertical and wide jumping results were the elite at Pro Day, but it was his natural instinct and his reaction time during the road races that convinced the scouts that he was able to play a nuanced position rarely mastered by code hoppers.

The 25 -year -old overthrowed the lucrative European rugby and the LNR which offers – and the possibility of appearing for the Wallabies against the British and Irish lions – to abandon at least five months of salary to continue his NFL dream.
He is so far the only member of the IPP harvest of 14 people to sign an agreement.
“We are delighted with Jordy, who quietly planned this move to the NFL for a while,” said manager Andrew Fairbairn.
“He took a huge risk to leave rugby rugby rugby for the NFL IPP, without a contractual guarantee.
“After talking about a few teams since last week’s professional day, we estimated that the charges suited him best because he took his first step in the NFL.”
Created in 2017, the IPP program is designed to accommodate elite athletes from around the world on the NFL lists.
The active lists had been tight in the water in the past, but new rules introduced before last season mean that the loaders can transport Petaia in an additional place and activate it at any stage.
But the three -year agreement does not offer complete security.

Petaia is able to be exchanged or transported to the training team, such as the Gallic Rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit who was never presented after signing with the chiefs, cut and then taken up by Jacksonville last season.
He will return home to Brisbane this month before returning in April or May to start pre-season training.
“I am super proud of Jordan and I think the opportunity he has is enormous,” said Mailata, part of the 2018 IPP class.
“It’s such a good no career for him and as great as he is closer to his home on the west coast of Los Angeles.
“I know that the charges will invest in Jordan and that it will invest and accumulate throughout the process. Could not be more proud of him.
Petaia played 31 tests for Wallabies, making his debut for Queensland Reds at the age of 18 and becoming the youngest Australian to play during a World Cup the following year.
The injuries regularly handed over versatile talent, but in his best, he showed an explosive athletics coupled with great skills in hand and in the foot.
Training as the smallest tight or larger wide receiver, Petaia’s professionalism had impressed the observers, who considered this harvest as the best performance IPP team.
