One of the most prominent horse racing families in New Zealand was struck by a tragedy after the death of a 10-year-old boy, and two other family members were injured in a off-road vehicle accident.
On Sunday, Jimmy Schick, 10, died following the accident while the group was on a hunting trip to the family field near Cambridge, New Zealand on Sunday.
His father, Rodney, suffered critical injuries in the accident, but would be in a stable state. Her brother, Oli, 12, also suffered injuries in the accident, but “recovers well” in the children’s room.
A third child, understood as a family friend, was also involved in the incident and is expected to be released from the hospital on Wednesday.
Dennis Hunt firefighters think that the six -seater mountain biking that the group was driving had rolled during the hunting trip.
The group was then transported by plane to the hospital for subsequent treatment.

“ In incredibly sad circumstances, the family is kindly asking for private life when they accept the devastating loss of their very loved Jimmy, ” said a Schick family spokesman in a statement published on Facebook.
“The Schick family and the Windsor Park team express their sincere and sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love, support and concern during the most difficult moments.
“Rodney receives the best possible care of the dedicated team of the intensive care unit of the Waikato hospital and other updates will be shared as the information is available.”
“It is in a stable state with a long recovery expected. Oli recovers well with the support of the incredible team of the children’s room.
The Schick family is considered a royalty in the world of horse racing. The family’s team, Windsor Park Stud, is also admired one of the most respected breeding organizations in the southern hemisphere.
They also raised some of the best horses in the company, including former Auguste Rodin, Paddington and Circus Maximus formed by Aidan O’Brien.
Jimmy had attended the Kaipaki school in ōhaupō and was described by its director, Kim Budd, and the member of the Board of Directors, Lisette Balsom, as a “very loved student”.
In a statement published at stuff, they said: “Our thoughts and Aroha are with their Whānau during this period of deep loss, including with other family members who are injured.

The Schick family has now launched a Givealittle fund collection page in memory of Jimmy and will donate the funds collected by the page to the Cambridge Fire Brigade, Hato Hone St John and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Trust.
The family wrote on the page: “The Schick family was overwhelmed and extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown at this extremely difficult moment.
Instead of any flowers or food that the family asked anyone who wanted to make a contribution, please make a donation to this small page. Rod, Oli & Jack who were rescued on the scene would like to personally distribute all funds to the incredible emergency services, Cambridge Fire Brigade, Hato Hone St John Ambulance and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Trust who were really incredible in our need. A big thank you also to our local police who was fantastic.
“Our love, our thank you and our gratitude all go to them.
During the editorial staff, the fundraising page received 724 donations, collecting more than $ 58,700 for emergency services.
Racing NZ Thoroughbred has also published a declaration expressing its condolences to the family.
“Although we vigorously compete with each other, whatever the part of our industry, we are always the family of races,” the press release wrote.
“Our thoughts and prayers for you Jimmy, a temple of fame in the Lord’s house now and for your father to improve and your mom, your family, your grandparents and your Windsor Park family.”
They added that they remember again of our fragile life and whatever our status in horse races, we are a family.
