A Hindu temple in southern California was vandalized over the weekend, causing an investigation by the police.
The Sher Bernardino County Sheriff office launched the investigation to find the culprits behind the marking of a temple with “political messages”, said the authorities A press release.
The Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple in Chino Hills opens its doors to visitors daily at 9 am, according to The Temple website. The taggers sprayed these words on the marble panel of the temple, a brick wall and a sidewalk of the city, the authorities said.
The deputies arrived at the temple around 9:13 am and, shortly after, informed the application of the Chino Hills code, whose officers are responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of goods in the city. “We know that there have been other incidents at Baps not only in California but also in the country,” said Patel. “From what I know, a suspect was not located for the Sacramento incident. There was no security sequence; Here we have it.
