The year was 2012 and American Apparel got us all in Chokolhold. Absolutely, everyone had one of these tiny a-line skating skirts. You have probably combined yours with a tight leotard or, perhaps, a crop top box. The glory days of American clothes can be one thing in the past and your A-Line skateful skirts may have found their way to the right will of good will-but Heidi Klum just made a very strong case to bring the classic outfit formula.
The model was released in New York with an update version of the iconic silhouette. Instead of the classic colorful velvet curtain, she opted for a high-size leather mini-line, which she associated with a ultra-radious square black t-shirt with a torso that had the same length as the sleeves. She finished the look with a pair of transparent tights, pointed black heels, a tiny black handbag and a pair of square black sunglasses.

Klum’s latest look may be a total return, but it is only the last of a long line of daring looks that she has made her debut in the streets of New York in recent weeks. On Saturday April 19, Klum shook a pure diving pure dress with buttons and details of white feathers on the skirt. A few weeks earlier, she went out in another black look, this time, cutting a plunging blazer with a transparent maxiskirt. She was also spotted in a few looks for her appearances on The next Topmodel of GermanyIncluding a pair of sparkling silver leggings that have doubled in boots and a plunging red blazer and a matching bra.
