Columbus, Ohio – The Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder, one of the most prosperous wrestlers in American history, was arrested in a prostitution bite, according to Columbus police.
Snyder, 29, was accused of engaging in prostitution after his judgment on Friday, according to the judicial archives, who do not list a lawyer. The messages requesting comments from Snyder were not immediately returned.
Snyder became the youngest American wrestler to win Olympic gold at the age of 20 during the Janeiro 2016 Rio Games, and he followed with money at Tokyo Games. He lost in the bronze medal match at last year’s Olympic Games in Paris.
He was triple NCAA champion at Ohio State and won three world championships.
Last week, Real American Freestyle Wrestling League announced that it had added Snyder to its programming.
The League, with the Hulk Hogan professional wrestling icon as a commissioner, should organize its first event on August 30 in Cleveland.
