Chelsea Becirevic, Footy’s hottest new WAG, left the country and her footy star boyfriend because she can’t stand living in Adelaide after moving there to be with him just ago seven months.

The marketer and influencer told her more than 65,000 social media followers that she was “excited for a change” when she followed her man Ivan Soldo to the City of Churches in November last when he was traded from Richmond to Port Adelaide.

However, she proved that the novelty of living in ‘Radela’ has well and truly worn off in an Instagram post on Thursday in which she announced she was moving to Dubai to start a new life working for an airline.

Answering questions from her followers, the 23-year-old said she had “always wanted to work for Emirates, live in Dubai and travel the world”. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Chelsea Becirevic wasn’t 100 per cent sure how she would handle life in Adelaide when she moved there with her soccer star boyfriend last November.

When asked if she was taking anyone with her, Becirevic replied: “I’m doing this one solo. I’ve never moved on my own, so it would be nice to gain some independence.

“I’ve always wanted to move abroad, so I think this will be an exciting new chapter for me.”

While emphasizing that she and Soldo have no issues, she revealed: “He had to move to Adelaide for his career and that was a struggle for me.”

“Living in Adelaide is just not for me permanently,” she added, followed by a black heart emoji.

” It’s ok for now. But long term I think Melbourne or Gold Coast are for me…maybe even Syd.

Before moving to the City of Churches, the influencer said she heard “mixed reviews” – and now she says living there permanently “just isn’t for me”.

When a follower asked how Soldo was taking the news, Becirevic showed his sense of humor by posting a photo of himself facing the corner of an elevator with his hands down at his sides, accompanied by the words “surprisingly I take it very well.”

She also wrote that they planned to keep their relationship “at a distance for a while” and have him travel with her in the off-season, but also admitted that they would have difficulty overcoming his inability to visit her before the Port’s campaign ends later this year. .

Becirevic’s concerns about Adelaide were publicized when the biomedical sciences student first announced the move last November, shortly after she turned heads and announced herself as one of the WAGs Australia’s hottest when she and Soldo attended Richmond’s Best and Fairest Awards.

“To be honest, I can’t say I thought I’d ever move to Adelaide,” she wrote.

“I’ve never been to Adelaide before so I have no idea what to expect… and I hear so many mixed reviews.

“It’s not forever, but who knows, I might end up liking it.” I’m excited to start a new chapter and meet new people.

When the couple met two years ago, she ruled out a long-distance relationship, insisting “it wasn’t an option.”

“I know how much I would hate it and struggle, so I’m just going to accept it,” she wrote.

Becirevic’s move to South Australia was the subject of a turf war between two leading columnists last October.

Melbourne-based Jackie Epstein questioned whether she would be able to ‘make do’ with the state capital’s ‘low-energy lifestyle’, while Adelaide-based Kara Jung hit back accusing her rival of having written a “little joke” and telling the city’s residents “rolled their eyes and smiled at this poor misconception”.
