The emotion of the friends of the IFSI

When it comes time to tell who the student nurse really is, still missing when the main suspect linked to the case is hospitalized, Orlane speaks for the group of student friends: “Hey, it’s a thoughtful girl in whom one can confide. She has always been there for us, in good and bad times. When she is with us, we can be sure to laugh. A “normal” girlfriend, who likes to party, “always the first to go for a walk, to sit on the terrace or to spend weekends together”.

After an ST2S baccalaureate (Health and social sciences and technologies) obtained in 2020 at the Fénelon high school in Brest, where we remember a “sparkling, joyful” girl, Héléna Cluyou embarked on studies in ‘nurse. Within the Nursing Training Institute (IFSI), on the Cavale Blanche site in Brest, several close friends share Héléna’s daily life. After a week of absence and with heavy hearts, half a dozen girls from the group returned to class on Monday, February 6. “There is a lot of emotion and sadness in the promo. It’s not easy to talk about Héléna”, testifies a student.

“A fighter girl, with a lot of character”

Choosing the health field was obvious to Héléna. “She likes taking care of others, helping people. Héléna is a friend you can always count on, ”slips one of her childhood friends, who wishes to testify anonymously. “Helena is a ray of sunshine in the hearts of many people. She is a unique friend. It’s very hard right now, I don’t realize.

Tasha, whom Héléna knew in primary school, describes “a dynamic girl, with a lot of character. She doesn’t have the easiest life but she is very positive. We have known each other for more than ten years and, even if studies have taken us away, we have always remained united. Starting in fourth grade, Tasha, Héléna and two other friends formed a united, strong and tight-knit group during the elementary and middle school years. “We were together all the time. So much so that one day, the four of us engraved our initials on a bench in college,” recalls the fourth girlfriend of the band. “Even though we took different paths from high school, we never lost the bond. We are linked forever, we think very much of her.
