The former Wales Rugby Star, Alix Popham, revealed that he had “no memory” of his career after having more than 100,000 sub-colons.
Popham, 45, has played 33 times for Wales and has raised more than 320 appearances for the clubs of his homeland as well as England and France.
He received a diagnosis of early early dementia in 2020 and now the jerseys and medals are his only memories of a 14 -year -old rugby professional career.
“My neurologist, when he diagnosed me, they worked, I had more than 100,000 sub-commun success in my brain,” he told Newsnight.

In 2021, he began to undergo experimental cerebral treatment in Mexico, led by a pioneer firm in American biotechnology Neurocytonix for incurable neurological disorders.
He said in 2023: “Things are much better. I don’t lose my thinking as much.
“I could feel positive signs after the third day. I suffered from headache in the afternoon during my career and retired. Some afternoons, I should lie down in a dark room.
“It’s (treatment in Mexico) was a very positive step for me. There are so many former players who are in difficulty, suicidal and depressed and we must give them hope.

Popham first noticed that something was wrong with his health when he did not remember his path after a bike ride.
It was finally diagnosed with early early dementia and a probable CTE.
Treatment in Mexico, which Popham received for the first time in March 2021, is designed to stimulate brain regeneration to restore the structure of the nervous system. It is considered a new approach in the treatment of neurological diseases such as cerebral paralysis and traumatic brain lesions.
