A former Manchester United midfielder could not retain tears after having undergone another setback just five minutes from his return from an injury.
The 35-year-old man, who spent five years in the books at Old Trafford, was provoked as a second half substitute for the Juniors of Boca Juniors current at the Old Boys in Newell, the visitors following 2-0.
Ander Herrera missed six of the 11 games from the Boca League with an injury since his arrival in January and returned after being sidelined for his Defensa blows on March 16.
Five minutes after his return, and the second half, the Spaniard rose his groin, and immediately pointed out that he could no longer continue.
Rather than going to the ground and waiting for a replacement, Herrera wasted no time by entering the land directly and sitting on the bench, leaving Boca with only 10 men on the ground for several minutes.
After which Zeballos finally arrived on the field instead of the midfielder, the cameras turned to an emotional herrera that could be seen crying when he was consoled by teammates.

Herrerra previously spent five years in Manchester United before leaving the club in 2019
The injury was a recurrence of the same problem that prevented Herrera for six consecutive games during his first month in Argentina.
It was another big blow for the former United Man, who has been prey to injuries since he joined Boca from his athletic bilbao of the childhood club.
Boca had previously managed Herrera’s workload while he was in charge of muscle overload. Two weeks ago, Fernando Gago and his staff were informed by the medical team to make training by the midfielder to reduce stress on his muscles.
Although this was considered a recurrence of the two previous muscular problems that Herrera has had since his arrival through the door, the boss of Boca Juniors did not seem sure of the duration of the key.
“I don’t know what the extent of his injury is,” said Gago. “We are going to carry out the necessary tests and discover the type of injury he has.”
Herrera has been putting on red for the last time for six years, leaving the club in 2019 after five seasons in Manchester.
He joined United as the first permanent signature of the former manager Louis Van Gaal in 2014 and instantly became a beloved figure among the United Terrass through his obstinate and passionate performances in the anchor of the United midfielder.
The Spaniard presented 189 times in total for the Red Devils in all competitions and helped Van Gaal to a gift for separation from the FA Cup, before winning the League Cup and the Europa League under Jose Mourinho.
Herrera then exchanged northwestern England for Paris, spending three years at PSG before returning to Bilbao – where he played before moving to United – in 2022.
Despite the extension of her contract to the athletics club at the end of last season, Herrera chose to see the rest of her career in Argentina with Boca, although her heavy short at the club was far from fruitful.
