A former hostage of Hamas who recently manifested himself as a complainant in a rape case against a well -known coach of Tel Aviv said on Saturday that the suspect had convinced him to organize a meeting at home where the assault had taken place by saying that a Hollywood producer would be present.
Mia Schem turned out to be the plaintiff in the case on Thursday. The suspect, a man in their thirties, was arrested at the end of March during a descent from his house. He was then released from police custody but remains suspect in the case.
The trainer would be a leading figure on social networks with several celebrity clients, including a former Prime Minister.
“I decided to tell the truth. I am not I who do not need to hide,” Schem told Channel 12 at the start of what was his first interview since his presence as a complainant in the case.
Schem said that being sexually assaulted “has always been my biggest fear in life. Before captivity, during captivity, and that happened to me after captivity, at home, in my safest place. ”
In March, the network said the police sounded if the trainer had consumed a drug date. Schem’s friends would have found her at home after spending socially time with the coach and another person, with only a vague memory of what had happened.

She was then taken to the hospital for a medical examination, which determined that she had recently had sex – something of which she had no memory, according to the report.
“The thing that does me the most is the thought that I don’t remember. I don’t know what happened. My body remembers. My body feels everything, but it took me three days to connect my physical feelings (my conscience).”
According to Channel 12, Schem and the coach gathered during a Purim party in March. “Her studio is very close to where I live, and I understood that he was well known in his field,” she said.
Schem would have had three training sessions with the coach in the following weeks. The suspect also spoke with Schem of his own emotional state and his personal problems.
At one point, the trainer would have proposed to connect Schem to a “producer of Hollywood films” who was interested in meeting her.
“I write a book and – especially after what I have experienced – there are a lot of people who want to take my story and build something about it, so for me, it seemed completely normal,” Schem told Channel 12.
Schem would have waited two hours in a hotel to meet the producer, but he did not arrive. A second meeting was then organized at home.
“I said to my best friend the day before:” There will be a meeting for me on Sunday with a senior Hollywood film producer, and it is important to me that you are by my side at home, “recalls Schem.
Two hours after the agreed time, the coach arrived alone. He aggressively said to Schem’s friend, Abie, to leave the apartment due to the importance of the meeting, said the network.
“As soon as he entered, I don’t remember anything,” said Schem.
Abie reminded Channel 12 that she did not think that something was turned off after being invited to leave, but that when she returned, “Mia was not herself.”
“I don’t even remember how I opened the door (for Abie),” said Schem … The only thing I remember this day is that I am sitting in front (the coach). I am very misty and he understands that something happened to me.

She sent a text to the coach the next day, asking if everything had gone well during the meeting, and the suspect responded positively, said Channel 12.
The network revealed images of the building security camera that showed that the coach arrived at 4:00 p.m. and another man – who was not a Hollywood producer – arriving at 6.30 p.m. the second man, whose identity is not clear but would live in the United States, leaving the rear door building an hour later, and the coach left 20 minutes later.
Schem’s family would have noticed that they were acting differently after the incident. “My older brother said to me,” What do you have? ” What has entered you? What’s going on with you? He said to me, “You look like your captivity,” recalls Schem. “I looked empty and I couldn’t stop crying. I did not understand why I was crying and I did not put everything together. ”
Schem said that she had then gradually started to recall the details of the event, including the coach entering his closet as she dressed. “Another flash I have is that I am not completely dressed, and there is really another person at home, but I don’t know how I got from one place to another.”
Schem consulted one of his friends, who is a former drug addict, who told her that she had been druged. Schem then underwent tests that confirmed that she had been raped.
“It was my greatest fear all my life, and suddenly I understand, in the current situation, that I cannot get up. I can’t get over it,” said Schem.
The suspect initially told investigators that he had never entered the Schem room – where she alleged that he had raped her – at any time of the night in question.
During a counter-examination in early April, however, he would have changed his story and said he had entered Schem’s room when she changed clothes because he wanted to check the address of the apartment to send him to the third person who joined them that evening.
But according to Schem, Ynet reported, the coach already had his address, having sailed in the apartment thanks to a text which she sent him with it.
“The last thing I wanted was a saga like this,” Schem told Channel 12. “I need calm to treat my life. I have not yet started to treat my captivity.”
“In captivity in the tunnels of Hamas, without an (functional) arm, I had hope. But now suddenly, I am in darkness.”
But when they were asked if she had the strength to continue, Schem replied: “I have no choice. It’s probably my essence. I probably have a goal in this world. And there are 59 additional hostages. I do not forget for a moment that there are still hostages in Gaza. This is more important than anything. “
