Football fans have been amazed by the recent appearance of a former Manchester United hero.
The 36 -year -old man, now exercising his job in his native Mexico, joined the Red Devils in 2010 after an impressive World Cup campaign in South Africa.
Despite a formidable unit of attack which already boasted of Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney and an aging Michael Owen, the compact poacher quickly attacked the united faithful with his work rate and his breathtaking finishes.
A particularly famous – and hilarious – example – came in his first match for the Giants of the Premier League when he inexplicably launched the ball against his face, while seeing him bounce for the goal.
Two months later, he marked the objective of which he may be best known for Old Trafford, a backward head in a 2-1 victory outside against Stoke City.
It prompted the former commentator of Sky Sports, Andy Gray, to claim that “it is difficult to believe that any (big headers from the balloon) would have tried what he did”.
Football fans were amazed by the recent appearances of the former Manchester United Star Javier Hernandez
The Mexican won two Premier League title to Old Trafford under the direction of Sir Alex Ferguson
Hernandez is best known for his breathtaking finishes, including his headers back against Stoke City in October 2010
Fifteen years later and Javier Hernandez, more affectionately known as Chicharito, is still a professional, now back in Mexico where it all started.
Before the shock of his Guadalajara team against Monterrey on Sunday, Hernandez was seen in a conversation with the legendary Spanish central defender Sergio Ramos.
The couple played together at Real Madrid during the 2014-2015 campaign, Hernandez marking nine goals when they were ready for Man United.
The attacker quickly fell into disgrace after the retreat of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013. Under the Scottish, Hernandez won two Premier League titles. In total, he scored 59 goals in 157 appearances for the Red Devils.
After leaving Old Trafford, he had stays with Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham, Seville, La Galaxy, Chivas and Chivas Coras.
He was also prolific for his national team, scoring 52 goals in 109 appearances. Indeed, Hernandez is the top scorer in the history of Mexican international football.
