The former Chelsea star, Duff Duff, was seen by watching a match from a bizarre location Friday evening after receiving a banner ban.

DUFF, 46, was prohibited for his Shelbourne team in Dublin Rival Bohemian during their confrontation of the Irish League.

He took care of Shelbourne in November 2021, guiding them to the title last season for the first time in 18 years.

The former Chelsea midfielder was suspended after having shown his fifth yellow card of the season during the victory of Shels against St Patrick’s Athletic last week.

However, that did not prevent Duff from looking at his team in action when they fell to a defeated 1-0 and finished the match with nine men.

Duff was seen in an unusual disguise which made him unrecognizable by looking from a neighboring hill.

By relying on social networks, football fans joked that his ploy was an example of “brilliant understanding” of the man who also played for Blackburn Rovers, Fulham and Newcastle United during a long player career.

A user wrote: “Interesting point of view for Damien Duff at the Dalymount Park”.

A second added: “Perhaps my favorite photo of the law of all time. Damien DUFF is serving his ban on the touch line during the visit of Shelbourne to Dalymount Park to face the Bohemians.

Another joked: “Damien Duff in the Ghillie costume”.

A fourth noted: “already emblematic”.

Another comment said: “Say what you like about him, but this type of entertainment.”

The defeat against Bohs leaves Shelbourne sixth from the Irish League table after 16 games and seven points at the drift of rhythms of Shamrock Rovers rhythms.

They return to action on Monday, May 19, when they welcome Drogheda United to Tolka Park.
