A former Arsenal player was rushed to hospital after the ball hit him in the face during a match on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was hit in the face with the ball at close range.
The incident occurred as RWD Molenbeek were beaten 3-1 at home to Charleroi in the Belgian Pro League.
Molenbeek coach Yannick Ferreira said there were fears the player had suffered a brain hemorrhage.
However, the player posted a positive update regarding his situation on Saturday evening.

Ferrera said: “Jeff was unconscious for about ten minutes. We fear a brain hemorrhage.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide collapsed on the field following the incident and was unconscious for ten minutes.
Reine-Adélaïde posted a positive message to fans on Instagram on Saturday evening.
He wrote: “Thank you for your messages of support, more fear than harm.”
The former Lyon club of Reine-Adélaïde sent its best wishes to Reine-Adélaïde.
They wrote on X: ‘Olympique Lyonnais is with you in these difficult times.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide collapsed following the incident and was unconscious for ten minutes.

Reine-Adelaide joined Arsenal as a youth in 2015 and remained at the club until 2018. He made eight appearances in senior competition for the Gunners.
He signed for Angers after a successful loan spell, then spent time at Lyon, including Nice and Troyes, before joining Molenbeek permanently.
