A former winner of the Manchester City title is in hot water after apparently facing one of the players he manages – and leaving him hospitalized.
The player, Mexican giants Monterrey, needed 10 stitches after suffering from a seriously cut leg.
And there are now doubts as to whether the damage will exclude it from Sunday’s confrontation with Guadalajara, according to Marca.
The player would have kicked a glass door after an argument with his manager.
However, the director denied that there was a conflict.
The player in question is Sergio Canales, the former Spanish international who previously played for Real Madrid.

Former Manchester City star Martin Demichelis denied that there had been a conflict
Canales, 34, would have been involved in a stormy exchange with the manager Martin Demichelis, who played for City between 2013 and 2016.
Demichelis explained to the media that he was ready to discuss his philosophy with his players when he denied a conflict with Canales.
Leaving the training, Demichelis told the press: “Put the title you want. In all sports, in each locker room, there are always these exchanges of opinion.
“I am not authoritarian; I like to listen and hear the player’s opinion so that I can draw the best conclusions.
“We know what’s at stake this weekend, and we want to represent the club as it deserves. I have no doubt that the one who will go out to play this weekend will be a real warrior, and it is the most important thing.
Demichelis was appointed Boss de Monterrey in August last year, having already been in charge of River Plate.
Monterrey, who occupies ninth place in the table, has won only one of their last five games.
During his player career, he made 51 appearances for Argentina and presented in a good place for Bayern Munich.

Canales played 15 appearances for Real Madrid after joining in 2010 and then played for clubs such as Valence, Real Sociedad and Real Betis.
