Izak Rankine is not only a favorite of fans of Adelaide Crows because of his dazzling exploits on the ground – he is also an extremely talented singer.
The midfielder, 24, amazed the supporters by surrounding the piece of Maroon 5 ‘She will Award’ on Channel Nine before Gather Round, which begins Thursday evening when the crows attack Geelong in Adelaide Oval.
But Rankine was quickly left in red after her girlfriend Calista Mittiga revealed how the couple met for the first time.
“ The first time I met Izak, it was at a 16th anniversary party and he made a free rap for me, ” she said on NEW FOOTY.
“I fell in love with there.
The Rankine excitement machine will have to prove that its ability to line up against cats after having suffered a blow on its calf during the last Adelaide defeat against Gold Coast.
“I don’t know yet (if Izak will play),” said Adelaide Matthew Nicks coach.

“He hit the calf, there are bleeding there but there is no muscle damage, so it is the one we just have to be aware.
“The speeds he generates puts some pressure on this calf, so the last thing we want is to lose it for about a month.
“For the moment, there is a doubt, but (if you ask him) he is quite confident.
“Izak likes the big scene, so he really pushes to play.”
This comes when Rankine is the conference of the world of football after the controversial crow’s defeat against Gold Coast on April 5 where the Livewire was denied a brand at the end of the fourth quarter.
The Suns won the shock by one point – and the AFL has since conceded the bad call.
